Cooling Castle Barn, which dates back to the 17th century, is in a tranquil village setting adjacent to Cooling Castle, located only 10 minutes from all major transport links and within easy reach of London. Consisting of three barns surrounded by idyllic walled gardens, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere; it is the perfect venue for our wedding. The original architecture of the barns and the outstanding beauty of the surrounding rural countryside are beautiful. Each of the three barns has its own individual character, charm and purpose - which are perfectly complimented by the luxury onsite accommodation. An enclosed complex, Cooling Castle Barn creates a haven and distinct landmark in amongst the wilds of the North Kent Marshes.
In the grandeur of the enchanting Fathom Barn our wedding ceremony will be comducted. The dramatic entrance of the Bride starts from the beautiful adorned balcony, continuing down the staircase – enabling everyone to fully admire the bridal party and creating a spectacular and memorable start to everyone’s day. The bridal entrance concludes with a 60ft promenade down the aisle towards the ceremony dais decorated with flickering candles.
The newest and most contemporary barn, it is light and airy overlooking the well-maintained gardens. This barn is a fantastic meeting point for guests upon arrival. With a warm and welcoming feel, comfy sofas & plenty of seats, it is a relaxed environment for your guests to enjoy refreshments and socialise.
The Tithe Barn is the largest of the three barns and has been sympathetically renovated to provide a traditional and atmospheric environment for all styles of event. Offering high exposed beams and natural brickwork, this is where the wedding breakfast and evening celebrations will take place.
