- • There is ample parking available to the rear of the Barns
- • If you decide to leave your vehicle overnight you can do so at your own risk, but please ensure vehicles are collected by 11.00am the following day.
- • Babies and children can have half a portion of the selected adult meal; children will be offered the same starter and desserts as the adults. If you would like to bring your own food for the babies, cooling castle will heat it up for you.
- • Children will be supplied with unlimited lemonade, coke and squash until the end of the meal.
- • Please supervise your children, the grounds appear to be a very safe environment, however there are some areas that could prove hazardous. The road runs directly in front of the barns and although it is a country lane, traffic can travel at quite a speed. There are gates that can be closed however; we cannot guarantee guests/staff will ensure they are closed at all times.
- • Unfortunately we aren’t allowed bubbles as they can make the floors very slippery, also as it is a wildlife conservation area, foil confetti or streamers cannot be used. Instead, please use biodegradable/rice paper confetti that can be used outside in the garden-not inside please.
- • It is very difficult to get taxis at the end of the evening, we suggest that you pre-book taxis or plan your journey to your home or hotel in advance. It is an eight mile walk into the nearest town.
- • For those staying in the onsite accommodation, alcohol is prohibited in these rooms, any damage incurred in the rooms will have to be paid for by the bride and groom!
- • A list of guest names staying onsite will be given to Cooling Castle Barn staff, so the correct room is allocated and that you receive a free breakfast in the morning. They will not tolerate further guests sleeping in the rooms above the allocated numbers. Please respect this as the rooms’ capacities are full.
- • All the bedrooms have ensuite facilities and you will be provided with tea/coffee, hairdryers, ironing facilities, luxury bathing products and dressing gowns/slippers. A flat TV screen is also available with freeview and wi-fi. Air conditioning and adjustable heating are supplied. There is also under floor heating in the bathrooms.
- • Please ensure when you leave the function, noise levels are kept to a minimum to avoid disturbing neighbouring properties.
- • Please ensure noise levels are kept to a minimum in the bedrooms to prevent disturbing other family members.
